Free Cash Recap

Well, I have to confess, I was skeptical. I wasn't sure. I was afraid to cost my family more money, when we were in desperate need of cash. My husband wasn't working, and for the previous 3 years, I had been in the (-) in my MLM. I was spending $130 on a monthly purchase, and $100+ on leads, every single month. My checks were about $100-$130 at most. I will say, I truly love the products, but was ordering more than we were truly consuming on a monthly basis---and we are a family of 7!

Anyway... last August (2007) I went looking for a last 'ditch' attempt to bring leads to my business for free. I learned about the difference between advertising and marketing. I learned to brand ME...not "XYZ" Company. I learned about Social Networking, My Story Marketing, Attraction Marketing and so much more. I have met some amazing people that I will remain friends with FOREVER!

Now, to the present day... in January (2008), I stumbled across a forum post that seemed interesting, intriguing, but a little hard to believe. I contacted the 'postee' and waited. I got an email right back and an invitation to a workshop that night.

For a little while, I began to let doubt creep in. "Oh no, what did I do? What are they going to loop me in to?"

Well, that was all for 'naught' as they say. I was introduced to the FreeOnlineCashSystem. I got started doing the necessary tasks right after that call...January 21st, 2008.

This is how things have worked out, as of the time of this post:

Apply

The other evening I went to the food store, to pick up a few items we needed. It was late when I got to the checkout. The front end manager wasn’t busy so she came over to bag my groceries. This woman, my husband and I have gotten to know pretty well over the last few years. She has been working at that store for nearly seven years.

As I placed the bags in my cart, our friend turned to me with a glimmer in her eye and said, “Oh I have to tell you, I got the job!” I was puzzled by her statement, since she was ON a job as we stood there. She went on to say that she had applied at a local retail store and got a full time position. She was starting the following Monday.

I was excited for her. After years of working two part-time jobs, she would finally have a full-time job. I said to her how great it was that she could finally leave the evening shift at the food store. Her eyes dropped down and she told me that she couldn’t.
She would be working a full time and part time job. She then quickly explained that she needed it to pay the rent and about 5 or 6 small credit cards.

I tried to be excited for her. I really did. She was as excited as a teenager that passed their exams and got their driver’s license. How could I squash her happiness?
But, I wondered why she wouldn’t seek a higher paying position and work one job instead.

I cautiously worded my question to her. She explained that even though she had almost 30 years experience in retail type environments, that she could never take on an Assistant Store Manager position. It was too much to handle. Even though the thought of working one job and getting paid $15 an hour seemed to be a ‘dream’ for her, she never looked for those types of positions.

Though it was late in the evening, the conversation sat heavy on my heart. When I shared it with my husband, he made one statement that was quite simple, yet so very profound. “You have to apply for it though.”

Yes, our friend could not change her situation unless she sought out a way. If she did not apply for a management position, it would never come her way. I don’t think that she even thought that BIG for herself. After 30 years of working in retail and grocery stores, she was still only offered minimum wage at this new job. That, to me is an insult. But, how can one expect any more, when they don’t go after it?

In our jobs, businesses, relationships, one thing remains true: You MUST apply. You must go after more, seek more, expect more. You cannot expect it to fall in to your lap. It just doesn’t work that way.

What makes someone ‘crazy’ for applying to be a manager in their field? What makes someone ‘foolish’ for wanting to start a home based business? What makes someone ‘insane’ for wanting to get married or have more children?

I guess, it is the same mentality that drove Einstein, Chopin, Mozart, Michelangelo, JFK, Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Teresa, Helen Keller to be ‘crazy’, ‘foolish’ and ‘insane’. They knew they were destined for MORE. They had the burning desire within them to APPLY. They knew that they could make a difference.

What makes it so hard for us to comprehend that some people have bigger dreams and the gumption to go after them? It’s all in your head… and as Henry Ford said: “Whether a man think he can or cannot; either way he is correct.

I wish the best for my friend, I truly do. I cannot give her the dream to go after or the steam to get there. I can only plant the seed. It only need be the size of a mustard seed. I planted the seed that she can do more and I hope and pray that it takes root.

I wish the best for YOU too. I hope and pray that if you needed someone to plant a seed, I have been able to do that for you. We are all destined for MORE. We all have the making of greatness within us.

The question is:

Will you APPLY?

Spring Fling

Spring Fling

When the brisk, dim days of winter give way to the warmth of Spring, we often find ourselves basking in the sun. We begin to shed layers of clothing and don sunglasses and hats. We shake off the dust of hibernation and awaken within.

This is a beautiful time of the year. A time when new leaves are sprouting and sleepy flowers burst through layers of brown brittle foliage. The colors of the rainbow can be seen in everything; from the tiny crawling bug to the great oak.

This is a time of year for renewing ourselves. When we look at our home based business, we tend to find many distractions that will inhibit the growth of our business. The focus must remain on growth.

Although this time of year brings us out of our resting state, we need to remember that we have a business that needs us. There are people out in this world that need what we have to offer. They are looking now, and shouldn't be asked to w ait any longer.

So, as you get out and start gardening or bouncing between outdoor activities, remember your business. Remember that everywhere you go, you have to be ready to share your message with others.

Be sure to carry business cards or flyers with you to the park, gym, beach, etc. If you drive a lot, be sure to have a car magnet to do your advertising for you. You can even purchase pens or sports bottles with your company logo and message on it, for times when you are sitting at the baseball game.

Just remember that as Spring has finally sprung and you find yourself out and about, that your business still needs clients and now there is a chance to reach in new ways. Renew your business with different ways of marketing and advertising. Create momentum as we roll in to summer and keep your business flowing with new clients.

Enjoy your spring!

I am so blessed-thank you!

I just want to take a moment to publicly thank my husband and my team members for helping me to build a profitable home based business.

I try my best to thank them as often as I can, directly, but I wanted to share with everyone how much I have been blessed.

My husband, Chris, has been very supportive of my *last* attempt to make money from home. I have tried for years to bring in an additional income to increase the cash flow for our family. We have 4 small children together and 2 step-children. This means a lot of mouths to feed and possibly HUNDREDS of thousands of dollars for education costs. My son is 16, my step-daughter is 15...so college for one or both is not far off.

Our 4 children, together, have to eat (of course), as well as school necessities, clothing, etc. Not to mention extracurricular activities.

Since starting with the FreeOnlineCashSystem and the CashFlowSuccessSystem we have met the most amazing people that have brought a lot to the community. Great personalities; smart and savvy techniques; tips and tricks; previous experience; no experience. This system has proven not only that it works, giving out about $25,000 in just a couple of months; but also that it truly can work for ANYONE.

It has been phenomenal and I am very grateful to the founders, Jah and Keith for putting the system together. I am also grateful to my direct sponsor Oliver, for introducing me to the FOCS and CFSS and helping me out, supporting me and encouraging me.

This system works.

Blessings,

Joy
